| The Project Formerly Known as
BLAZILLA was forever lost, due to my lack of foresight, and a need for
money. A recap of the specs, and prices, showing the investments of
time and money I had put into Blazilla, compared to the specs for BLAZILLA
PART DEUX (Scheduled to commence 10/9/2004) which can be seen on the

As you can see, it was not designed to be a rock-crawler, or mud
bogger, or anything too serious. I wanted a vehicle capable of going
more places than a stock vehicle, to take camping and fishing, and most
importantly, didn't want to spend a lot of money. This was the first
vehicle I modified for myself, and the reason I still am interested in
more extreme trucks and capabilities. Blazilla NEVER let me down,
took me lots of places that normal trucks couldn't go, and though I have
few pictures to show, was a billboard for my support of our troops and our
country - Ugly but sentimental markings of "USA" and a
full-door-sized, accurately depicted U.S. Flag. Since the day I
parted with Blazilla, I have regretted it, and have constantly been
searching for another, though Blazilla can never be replaced in my
heart. As I hunt down pictures, I will scan them and link them here,
so it can be enjoyed by all. Here is a link of how it was
bastardized by the dude who bought it, rather, his brother who took it as
payment for some debt...

My plans for PART DEUX are much the same as
before, though I may invest slightly more money this time. I'm still
not shooting for the ultimate vehicle, but I think this time I'm going a
little bigger, a little more oomph, and a rear locker and perhaps, if I'm
lucky, a winch. Here's the plan, parts listed in RED
have already been acquired

That's just the basics, I haven't included small stuff
like paint for aesthetics (see link below), interior, labor, roll cage,
locker, winch or any of the other stuff I'm either not sure about, or not
sure when I can afford to do. While I'm waiting to line up a motor,
and the truck is sitting there, I'm going to focus on little stuff -
cleaning and painting the frame, axles, engine bay, wheel wells etc...
with scotch brite and cheapo flat black paint. Also, I plan on
gutting the interior, using Herculiner or the like on the floor, and
making new interior side panels for the rear, if I can get access to the
tools I'll make them of sheet metal and weld on brackets for tools, parts,
junk... I think I'll also be stripping off the white paint and all
the molding, and going for a flat black paint job for now, filling any
small dents, and when possible "fixing" (however incapable I may
be) any rust spots or larger damage. We'll see how far I get
